Job Description
As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated workflows that connect business systems to enhance operational efficiency. This includes working with no-code/low-code tools like n8n and Appsmith, API integrations, and custom development. You will also maintain dashboards, automate data synchronization between various tools, and ensure real-time data processing. The role requires building internal tools to streamline business processes, developing custom integrations using Python (Django), and providing training and support for internal teams. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure that automation solutions align with business goals.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Automated Workflow Development:
Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using n8n to integrate business systems.
Optimize workflows across Zoho CRM, Customer Support, Social, and Email Campaigns.
Automate data synchronization between Zoho, Trello, internal databases, and third-party tools.
Implement webhook-based and API integrations for real-time data processing.
Dashboard Development:
Build and maintain a centralized dashboard using no-code/low-code tools like Appsmith.
Integrate Zoho, Trello, and internal data sources for real-time business intelligence.
Ensure dashboards are dynamic, user-friendly, and customizable according to department needs.
Custom Development & Integrations:
Develop custom integrations between company platforms using Python (Django) and other scripting languages.
Write and maintain API connectors to integrate third-party services like Zoho, WhatsApp, SMS, and banking APIs.
Support or coordinate WordPress plugin development to extend platform functionality.
Ensure seamless integration with Zoho, internal tools, and payment systems.
Collaboration & Support:
Collaborate with external developers for optimal performance and security.
Provide training and onboarding support to internal teams on new automation features.
Work closely with customer success, product, and engineering teams to align automation with business goals.
Prepare detailed reports to track progress, productivity, accountability, and transparency.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in Python (Django), JavaScript, and API development.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in Java (Spring Boot) and Python (Django) development.
Experience with Angular and/or React for frontend development.
Strong understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ability to write/debug complex queries.
Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and third-party API integration.
Experience with Git version control and automated testing.
Solid understanding of networking, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and security best practices.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently.
