WE ARE HIRING – AUTO ELECTRICIAN (URGENT)
Sogea Satom Uganda | Position Needed Immediately
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to support our fleet of vehicles, trucks, and heavy construction machinery across multiple project sites in Uganda.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on vehicles and heavy equipment
Troubleshoot wiring, sensors, lighting, and electronic components
Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
Use diagnostic tools to detect and resolve faults
Repair or replace alternators, starters, batteries, relays, and ECUs
Maintain accurate service, repair, and maintenance records
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety procedures and standards

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma or Certificate in Auto Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Hands-on experience with construction equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, Dynapac, etc. is a strong advantage
Strong diagnostic, technical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and travel across multiple sites when required
