Job Description
Audit Intern – Ndakala & Partners LLP (Uganda)
Location: Kampala, Uganda

About the Role
As an Audit Intern, you will work closely with our audit teams on assurance engagements while also contributing to selected marketing and client engagement activities. The role offers a unique combination of technical accounting exposure and business development experience — ideal for individuals eager to grow in both finance and client-facing roles.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing audit assignments under supervision.
Support the preparation of financial statements and audit documentation.
Participate in client meetings and assist in gathering financial information.
Contribute to marketing and outreach efforts, including digital content creation, client communications, and event coordination.
Ensure adherence to professional auditing standards and firm policies.
Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all engagements.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting option preferred) from a recognized institution.
CPA qualification (completed or at an advanced stage).
Demonstrated interest or experience in marketing, communications, or client relations.
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
High attention to detail and ethical handling of financial information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of digital marketing tools is an added advantage.
