Production Planning and Scheduling
Assist in developing production schedules: Collaborate with the production manager to create detailed plans that outline production targets, timelines, and resources.
Monitor production processes: Ensure that production processes adhere to the schedule and meet quality standards.
Supervision and Coordination
Oversee production staff: Supervise the daily activities of production workers, ensuring they understand their tasks and responsibilities.
Coordinate with other departments: Liaise with departments such as procurement, quality control, and logistics to ensure seamless production processes.
Quality Control
Implement quality standards: Assist in establishing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure that products meet specified standards.
Inspect products: Regularly inspect finished products and production processes to identify any defects or deviations from standards.
Inventory Management
Monitor inventory levels: Track inventory of raw materials and finished products to ensure there are no shortages or overstock situations.
Order supplies: Coordinate with the procurement department to order necessary materials and supplies in a timely manner.
Maintenance and Safety
Ensure equipment maintenance: Work with the maintenance team to ensure all production equipment is properly maintained and operational.
Enforce safety protocols: Ensure that all safety guidelines and regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
Problem-Solving
Address production issues: Quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise during the production process to minimize downtime.
Implement improvements: Suggest and help implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Reporting and Documentation
Prepare reports: Compile production data and prepare reports for the production manager and other senior management.
Maintain records: Keep accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, maintenance schedules, and safety incidents.
Training and Development
Train staff: Assist in training production workers on new equipment, processes, and safety procedures.
Develop team skills: Encourage continuous improvement and skill development among production staff.
Budget Management
Assist in budget preparation: Help prepare the production budget and monitor expenditures to ensure costs are kept within budget.
Cost control: Identify areas where production costs can be reduced without compromising quality.
Compliance
Ensure compliance: Make sure that all production activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Stay updated: Keep abreast of changes in industry regulations and standards, and implement necessary adjustments.

Bachelors Degree in Food Science or Food Production
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in both Quality Assurance and Food Production
Requirements:
30-35 years of age
Should have worked in an FSSC 22,000-certified organization
Should have experience in leading a team of 50 people and above
Should have analytical skills, be detailed, solution-oriented, and a hands-on person - Experience in Lean management.
Experience in Middle level management
