Assistant Lecturers job at Victoria University
Victoria University
Assistant lecturers at Victoria University are academic staff members who support the teaching and learning activities of the university. They are usually involved in delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops, and laboratory sessions, as well as marking assignments, exams, and projects. Assistant lecturers may also conduct research and publish papers in their fields of expertise. Assistant lecturers are expected to have a master's degree or equivalent qualification, and some may be enrolled in a doctoral program. They work under the supervision and guidance of senior lecturers or professors, and they receive regular feedback and mentoring to enhance their professional development.
Responsible assistant lecturers at Victoria University are expected to perform a range of duties that support the teaching and learning of students.
These include preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops and seminars; marking and providing feedback on assignments and exams; supervising student projects and research; and participating in professional development activities.
Responsible assistant lecturers also adhere to the university's policies and procedures on academic integrity, diversity, equity and inclusion, health and safety, and quality assurance.
They collaborate with other staff members and contribute to the academic community of their department and faculty.

Applicants should be proficient in the fields of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Sciences,Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Biochemistry, Medicinal Chemistry Pharmacognosy.
You must currently be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda as a pharmacist.
A PhD and relevant teaching experience are required for Senior Lecturers.
