Prepare inventory reports, dashboards, and documentation summarizing inventory levels, stock movements, and key performance indicators for management review and decision-making.
Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels for operational needs while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
Inventory Control: Help in implementing inventory control procedures to track inventory movements, reconcile discrepancies, and prevent stockouts or overstocks.
Inventory Replenishment: Support inventory replenishment processes by generating purchase orders, monitoring delivery schedules, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
Inventory Audits: Participate in regular inventory audits and stocktakes to verify inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies, and reconcile inventory records.
Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate inventory records and databases by entering inventory transactions, updating stock levels, and documenting inventory movements.
Stock Allocation: Assist in allocating and distributing inventory to different departments or locations based on demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory policies.
Inventory Analysis: Conduct basic analysis of inventory data, such as inventory turnover, stock aging, and demand patterns, to identify trends, optimize stocking levels, and improve inventory management processes.
