Job Title: Assistant Bidding Specialist (Fresh Graduate Jobs)

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Reports to: Project Manager
The Bidding Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing the bid process, ensuring all proposals and submissions meet client specifications, deadlines, and quality standards. This role requires collaboration with internal teams, clients, and external partners to craft competitive and winning proposals. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

How to Apply
Manage the end-to-end process of bid preparation and submission.
Review and analyze tender documents to understand requirements.
Coordinate and gather inputs from various departments (e.g., engineering, finance, legal) to ensure the bid is complete.
Prepare and submit detailed, accurate, and competitive proposals, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company capabilities.
Conduct market research to identify bidding opportunities, trends, and competitor activities
Maintain a database of current and potential clients, along with relevant industry contacts
Understand client needs and align bid responses to demonstrate value

Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveyor or a related field
Experience in preparing bids / Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of the industry and market trends related to the company’s services
Knowledge of PPDA Uganda Act & Regulations
