Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
Field Inspections: Conduct field inspections to monitor crop conditions, pest infestations, soil quality, and overall agricultural productivity.
Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance and advice to farmers on crop cultivation techniques, pest management strategies, irrigation methods, and soil conservation practices.
Extension Services: Assist in the delivery of agricultural extension services to farmers, including organizing training programs, workshops, and demonstrations on modern agricultural practices and technologies.
Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze agricultural data related to crop yields, weather patterns, pest outbreaks, and market trends to inform decision-making and policy development.
Regulatory Compliance: Enforce agricultural regulations and policies related to crop protection, pesticide use, environmental conservation, and food safety to ensure compliance by farmers and agricultural businesses.
Research Support: Assist agricultural researchers in conducting field trials, experiments, and surveys to evaluate new crop varieties, farming techniques, and agricultural innovations.
