Anti Fraud Specialist Job at EBC

Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Anti-Fraud Specialist to join a fast-growing fintech company. The role involves identifying, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities while working closely with internal teams to strengthen fraud detection and risk controls.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Fraud Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into suspected fraudulent activities, including reviewing transaction records, analyzing user patterns, and interviewing affected individuals.
- Data Analysis & Monitoring: Analyze large volumes of data to identify patterns and anomalies indicating fraudulent behavior. Monitor wallets, transactions, and user accounts for suspicious activities.
- Incident Response: Receive, log, and resolve reports of fraudulent banking/lending activities, erroneous transfers, and “business gone bad” cases.
- Risk Mitigation: Implement, develop, and enhance fraud prevention strategies and security controls to protect the company and its customers.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed investigation reports, including findings and recommendations for management to prevent future incidents.
- Collaboration & Liaison: Work with IT, compliance, law enforcement, and other financial institutions (banks) to investigate, escalate cases, and recover stolen funds.
- Asset Protection: Actively restrict reported fraudulent wallets and collaborate with teams to freeze funds.
