Job Description
As an Android Security Engineer, you will work on identifying and analyzing potentially harmful mobile applications. Your main responsibilities include reverse engineering, conducting security assessments, and creating detection signatures to combat malware and unwanted software. You will evaluate static and dynamic code, assess risk and harm to users, and propose scalable enforcement mechanisms. The position requires strong technical expertise in reverse engineering tools and Android internals. This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX, with on-site work required three days per week.

How to Apply
Perform reverse engineering of Android applications

Required:
Proficiency in reverse engineering fundamentals
Experience with static analysis (decompilation, disassembly, code auditing)
Experience with dynamic analysis (debugging, fuzzing, monitoring)
Familiarity with tools like IDA Pro, Ghidra, Jadx, Smali, ADB, Frida, Wireshark, etc.
Programming knowledge in Java/Kotlin, scripting, and encryption/decryption
Strong understanding of Android components (permissions, manifests, services, etc.)
Experience using Android Studio, Bluestack, and cyber forensic tools
