We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network and Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's network infrastructure while ensuring robust security measures are in place. This role requires expertise in FortiGate, Cisco, Juniper, Cisco Umbrella, and a strong understanding of routing protocols and network security.

Network Infrastructure Management:
Design, configure, and maintain network devices, including FortiGate Firewalls, Cisco Routers and Switches, and Juniper Routers.
Implement network virtualization technologies such as VLANs and VRFs for optimized network segmentation.
Security Implementation:
Configure and manage firewall settings on FortiGate, Cisco ASA to enforce security policies.
Implement and administer Cisco Umbrella solutions for DNS security and threat intelligence.
Monitor and analyse security alerts, conduct regular security assessments, and recommend remediation strategies.
Routing Protocols:
Configure and optimize routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) to ensure efficient and reliable network communication.
Troubleshoot and resolve routing issues to minimize downtime and enhance network performance.
Incident Response and Troubleshooting:
Provide prompt and effective resolution to network and security incidents.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and address security breaches or vulnerabilities.
Network Monitoring and Optimization:
Utilize network monitoring tools such as Wireshark, SNMP, and NetFlow to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance overall network efficiency.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, security policies, and incident reports.
Generate regular reports on network and security metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a Network and Security Engineer with a focus on FortiGate, Huawei, Cisco, Juniper, and Cisco Umbrella.
Certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNP, and Juniper JNCIS are highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of routing protocols, network security principles, and best practices.
Skills:
Proficiency in configuring and managing FortiGate, Cisco, and Juniper network devices.
In-depth understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and network segmentation.
Experience with firewall configuration and management (FortiGate, Cisco ASA).
Familiarity with DNS security and Cisco Umbrella implementation
Strong troubleshooting skills for both network and security-related issues.
