Job Description
The Channel Support Specialist will manage financial reconciliations between the Airtel Money platform and trust accounts, track financial movements, assist in compliance reporting to the Bank of Tanzania, and ensure accurate processing of trust fund transfers and commission approvals. The role also involves preparing dashboards, assisting in finance testing, and supporting reconciliation processes during weekends as needed. The candidate must be adept in accounting processes and have working knowledge of data analysis tools.

How to Apply
Perform daily trust reconciliations between Airtel Money Platform and Trust Accounts (D-1).
Share inputs and clear unreconciled items promptly.
Track financial movement to support decision-making and reveal any wallet errors or leakages.
Prepare daily trust balance and prefunded wallet reconciliation reports.
Approve commissions, churn settlements, and track partner payments.
Ensure BOT compliance regarding movement of trust funds and interest.
Manage transfer request documentation and interest files.
Track status of partner bank commissions and funding to trust banks.
Provide business assistance on finance control matters and product support.
Assist in finance tests and weekend reconciliation activities when required.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Accounting with IT, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in a finance department, particularly in receivables, payables, or reconciliations.
Key Competencies:
Strong understanding of accounting functions and financial policies.
Analytical skills to solve complex business issues.
Basic knowledge of reporting standards, processes, and compliance.
Experience with SQL and data analytics is an added advantage.
Excellent communication, accuracy, and attention to detail.
