Hashtag Gulu Initiative is a nonprofit organisation based in Northern Uganda that focuses on the rehabilitation and reintegration of street connected children and youth through holistic and community led programming. A key approach of the organisation is the use of agriculture as a tool for social transformation and economic empowerment. The organisation operates a training and demonstration farm in Paicho sub county which serves as a learning space for street connected children and youth as well as surrounding communities. Through agriculture mental health and psychosocial support and livelihood interventions Hashtag Gulu Initiative equips young people with practical and life skills while promoting social reintegration and sustainable livelihoods. To strengthen programme delivery the organisation is seeking motivated individuals to support agricultural programming and monitoring evaluation and learning functions.
