Schedule admissions for patients in accordance with physician recommendation and bed availability.

Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information.

Explain hospital policies and procedures to patients and families, including billing, insurance coverage, and visiting hours.

Obtain informed consent for treatment procedures.

Coordinate pre-admission testing and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.

Assist patients with getting settled in their rooms and connect them with appropriate nursing staff.

Work collaboratively with the care team to develop discharge plans that meet the individual needs of each patient.

Coordinate discharge activities, such as scheduling follow-up appointments, arranging transportation, and providing medication instructions.

Ensure all financial obligations are settled or payment arrangements are made.

Process paperwork and update patient records to reflect the discharge.

Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families as they transition back home or to a new care setting.

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
