The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Uganda Health System Strengthening (UHSS) Activity is an above-site activity whose goal is to improve the performance of Uganda’s health system through technical assistance.
The UHSS Activity aims to improve leadership and accountability for results in the public and private sector and across all levels of the health system, improve efficient use and management of key health systems resources and strengthen community health systems that are critical for improved quality of care in health services.
Manage the front office, logistics, miscellaneous procurement, and administration of the project.
Be responsible for maintaining clean, organized public areas, monitoring visitor access, answering incoming calls.
Editing of documents as requested by staff. This is usually to assist the KMC Specialist.
Updating and reconciling the advance tracker in a timely manner
Reconciling expense claims
Preparing Payment Approval Forms
Timely update and reconciliation of the purchase requisition tracker.
Issuance of goods received notes and service completion forms as well as ensuring that they are fully signed.
Receiving bid submissions and duly submitting them to the procurement committee for review.
Receipt of any other procured materials in cases where the requester or the procurement manager is out of office.
Maintain a filing system as per the Palladium’s filing policy.
Support staff at relevant meetings, appointments, conferences, workshops and trainings.
Perform other clerical duties such as photocopying, preparing correspondence, assisting with staff travel needs and maintaining office petty cash.
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration
Some experience supporting USAID-funded projects is an added advantage
