About the Organisation
The Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency (CRVWWDA) is one of nine Water Works Development Agencies in Kenya, formed under Section 65 of the Water Act, 2016. Established through Kenya Gazette Notice No. 4 dated February 7, 2020, CRVWWDA serves the counties of Nakuru, Narok, Laikipia, Baringo, and Nyandarua. The Agency is mandated to develop and maintain water and sanitation infrastructure in its region.

The Accounts Assistant II is responsible for supporting financial processes, including revenue collection, payments compilation, asset depreciation computation, and accounting document management. The role involves participating in approvals, fund allocation, effecting payments, and ensuring proper documentation and records are maintained.

How to Apply
Assisting in revenue collection.
Assisting in compiling payment data.
Computing asset depreciation and verifying account balances.
Organizing approval of payment documents and fund allocation.
Dispatching cheques.
Managing petty cash.
Keeping custody of accounting documents.
Filing accounting documents.
Minimum of three (3) years' cumulative work experience in the grade of Accounts Assistant III or comparable role.
Kenya Accountants Technician Certificate (KATC) Final, OR Part I of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in computer applications.
