Latitude Trade Company (LTC) is a rapidly growing social enterprise in Uganda sourcing specialty cacao for export and producing bean to bar chocolate at origin. Working with over 5,000 certified organic smallholder farmers, our mission is to sustainably increase incomes and reduce risk for our suppliers while positively impacting the community and environment surrounding our operations. We aim to provide chocolate makers and consumers in East Africa and around the world with the highest quality, transparently sourced and fully traceable Ugandan cocoa products
Tally data entry of petty cash, MM expenses, bills and invoices
Issuance of EFRIS invoices for sales
Assistance in stock counts and fulfillment of orders
Follow-up on AR and AP
Filling and Organization of financial documents
Support management of stationary requirements
Support coordination of supplies purchases and orders
Reconcile retail sales records
Management and regular submission of petty cash book
Completion of weekly cash counts
Collection and depositing of cash at the bank or MTN Mobile Money
Issuing of pre-finance agreements to buyers
Issuing out funds for purchase of cocoa beans
Organization of cash in/out documents, receipts, payment vouchers, etc.
Balancing of cocoa buyers based on weights delivered, deductions and allowances
Completion of fresh cocoa delivery records
Participation in weighing, production, storage, and shipping of cocoa as needed
Fluent English
1-3 years of experience in accounts department for a Ugandan registered company or entity
Degree in relevant Account or Finance field, progress completed towards CPA or ACCA
Advanced knowledge of MS Office and QuickBooks
Positive attitude, attention to detail and good communication skills
