Job Summary:
King Ceasor University is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to support the Director of Finance in managing financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in budget management, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing reports and insights that support the University’s strategic goals.

How to Apply
Under the guidance of the Director of Finance, the Accountant will assist in the following areas:
Coordinating the preparation and management of the University’s budget.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date books of accounts for audit purposes.
Preparing and presenting regular financial reports.
Supervising finance department staff to ensure efficient financial operations.
Supporting the development and implementation of financial and operational management systems.
Coordinating the implementation of financial policies and ensuring compliance.
Maintaining and updating the University’s asset register.
Computing and reporting on the value of the University’s physical assets.
Supporting accounts payable, revenue collection, and general financial administration functions.

Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Full professional qualifications in Accounting and Finance (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
Membership with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) is mandatory.
Membership with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is an added advantage.
At least five (5) years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Vision Excel, and accounting software.
