Explorer Dubai Ltd is a leading manpower recruitment and placement company operating both within and outside Uganda. Over the years, we have diversified our portfolio to include agency banking, training schools, and real estate ventures. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a competent Accountant to lead our finance department and consolidate the accounts of our various business units.

Prepare financial statements for decision-making.

Produce final accounts and monthly management reports.
Reconcile bank payments and client slips.
Ensure financial prudence and budget compliance.
Investigate budget and account variances, reporting discrepancies.
Assist in risk management and business strategy development.
Manage payroll and capital planning.
Prepare budgets for activities and the organization.
Ensure adherence to financial strategy and business plan.
Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Accounting), BBA (Finance & Accounting), or related field from a recognized institution.
CPA Member
Proficiency in accounting software such as Ms. Excel, Tally, and QuickBooks.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
Personal Attributes:
Highly motivated team player.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative and innovative thinker
Intellectually confident with a good sense of judgment.
Well-organized with strong initiative.
Age 35 and above.
Proven experience in financial management and leadership roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of local and international accounting standards.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
