Job Description
This role entails managing day-to-day accounting operations such as payroll, accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations, and ledger updates. The Accountant will also prepare financial statements, develop and implement financial policies, monitor cash flow, and contribute to strategic financial planning. Additional duties include overseeing inventory management, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, supporting audit processes, and driving process improvements. The candidate is expected to demonstrate leadership potential and a deep understanding of FMCG dynamics.

How to Apply
Prepare, examine, and analyze financial reports and statements
Manage payroll, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and accounts receivable/payable
Ensure timely and compliant VAT filings and handle statutory requirements
Monitor financial performance including cash flow and forecasts
Support financial planning and analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, procurement, logistics)
Support inventory control and cost management
Liaise with external auditors and ensure audit readiness
Drive process improvement and automation in accounting systems
Exhibit leadership and strategic initiative for future managerial growth
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional certification: CPA, ACCA, or ACA (Mandatory)
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the FMCG sector
Key Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of tax regulations and statutory compliance
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Leadership potential and strategic thinking
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
