Job Description

This role entails managing day-to-day accounting operations such as payroll, accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations, and ledger updates. The Accountant will also prepare financial statements, develop and implement financial policies, monitor cash flow, and contribute to strategic financial planning. Additional duties include overseeing inventory management, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, supporting audit processes, and driving process improvements. The candidate is expected to demonstrate leadership potential and a deep understanding of FMCG dynamics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Professional certification: CPA, ACCA, or ACA (Mandatory)


Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the FMCG sector


Key Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Understanding of tax regulations and statutory compliance

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
