Job Description
As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing and expanding MUI’s client relationships. This includes overseeing the full sales cycle from lead qualification to contract closure, identifying upsell opportunities, and enhancing customer lifetime value. You’ll serve as the bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with customer needs.
You will be joining a transparent, asynchronous, and fully remote company that values autonomy, open communication, and personal responsibility. With millions of developers already using MUI’s tools, you’ll have a strong foundation of interest and trust to build upon.

How to Apply
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client accounts
Identify and act on upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification to contract closure
Present product demonstrations and communicate value propositions to stakeholders
Understand technical requirements and align MUI solutions accordingly
Act as a customer advocate, escalating issues and ensuring resolutions
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reporting
Collaborate with leadership to develop sales strategies that increase renewal and expansion
Required:
Proven experience in account management or B2B sales
Strong understanding of technical products and developer tools (SaaS, APIs, UI components)
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Self-driven, proactive, and able to thrive in a remote, asynchronous environment
Preferred:
Experience in software or developer-focused tools
Familiarity with React or UI libraries
Previous experience working in a startup or high-growth tech company
