About the Scholarships

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandan scholars to pursue studies at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Indian Universities for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.

Fields of Study & Available Slots

PhD Level

• PhD in Pharmacology – 5 slots
• PhD in Petroleum Geosciences and Production – 2 slots
• PhD in Food Science and Technology – 5 slots
• PhD in Education – 5 slots
• PhD in Cyber Security – 2 slots

Master's Level

• MSc Computer Forensics – 5 slots
• MSc in Environmental Sciences – 4 slots
• MSc in Sports Management – 2 slots
• MSc Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths) – 12 slots

Undergraduate Level

• BSc Pharmacy – 5 slots
• BSc Civil Engineering – 5 slots
• BSc Computer Science – 4 slots
• BSc Environmental Health Science – 4 slots
• Actuarial Sciences – 4 slots

How to Apply

1. Read the application guidelines at: Application Guidelines
2. Apply directly to Indian universities via: a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in
3. Upload all necessary attachments before submitting online.
4. Submit a printed copy of the online application to the Central Scholarship Committee.
5. Download a local application form from www.education.go.ug, fill and deliver together with the printed online application to:
