ACORD Uganda, officially registered as an indigenous Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in 2019, has been actively engaged in Uganda's development and humanitarian efforts since 1979. The organization's mission is to partner with marginalized communities and those denied their rights to analyze their situations and collaboratively develop sustainable solutions to enhance their well-being.
Renowned for its commitment to social justice, ACORD Uganda has built a strong reputation through extensive experience in areas such as Integrated Water Resources Management, Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) support, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Gender-Based Violence prevention, health, livelihoods, peace and conflict sensitivity, governance, and climate change adaptation.
