The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) is a government agency mandated to develop, promote, and enforce national standards to ensure the quality and safety of products, services, and systems in Uganda. UNBS protects consumer health, enhances fair trade, and supports industrial growth through standardization, certification, and quality assurance.

Internship Details

UNBS will offer a 1-year Graduate Internship Placement (October 2025 – September 2026). The program targets fresh graduates (not more than 3 years since graduation) who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to national standardization activities.

These jobs in Uganda are open to graduates in both Technical and Non-Technical disciplines.


Available Positions

1. Graduate Interns – Technical

Fresh graduates in the fields of:

  • Chemistry

  • Biology

  • Food Science

  • Food Technology

  • Engineering

  • Or other science-related qualifications


2. Graduate Interns – Non-Technical

Fresh graduates in the fields of:

  • Commerce

  • Business Administration

  • Accounting & Auditing

  • Finance

  • Computer Science / Information Technology

  • Human Resource Management

  • Statistics

  • Records & Archive Management

  • Library & Information Science

  • Other relevant business courses
