The Welder performs welding and metal fabrication at the Kingfisher field, working under supervision and observing workshop safety and PPE requirements.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Carry out welding and metal fabrication work under supervision.
Identify and handle commonly used welding tools, equipment and materials.
Apply basic knowledge of welding processes such as arc welding (SMAW), MIG and TIG.
Observe basic workshop safety procedures and use personal protective equipment.
Follow instructions from experienced welders and supervisors.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Certificate, diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Basic technical knowledge or technical school training in welding, metalwork or a related mechanical field.

Skills & Competencies:

Basic knowledge of welding and metal fabrication.
Able to identify welding tools, equipment and materials.
Understanding of workshop safety and PPE.
Basic English communication.
Willingness to learn.
