• Operate all chemical dosing pumps and confirm correct dosing to prescribed standards.
• Analyse water quality parameters including TDS, pH, alkalinity, chlorine content and flow.
• Carry out backwash and steaming of carbon purifiers and sanitise ultra-filters.
• Replace filter cartridges as scheduled and monitor MF filters.
• Prepare caustic, peracetic acid and chlorine solutions to required strengths for CIPs.
• Check pumps and machinery in the water treatment section and report failures immediately.
• Monitor cooling tower circuits and utility pumps.
• Carry out weekly sanitation of water tanks, polishers and filters.
• Monitor gauges, flowmeters, charts and control panels and maintain records to UNBS standards.
• Keep adequate stocks of water treatment reagents and train new team members.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BSc in Chemistry, Biology or Food Sciences and/or HND or equivalent from a reputable institute.
• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in the food industry, preferably beverage manufacturing.
• Familiarity with carbonated soft drinks or water treatment plants.
• Food safety and hygiene handling techniques.
