Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day implementation of WASH and health infrastructure projects in the cluster.
- Lead site selection, contractor introduction and supervision of ongoing construction works.
- Carry out quality assurance and progress monitoring of water and sanitation infrastructure.
- Prepare designs and drawings for new infrastructure systems.
- Work with district authorities, partners and communities to deliver WASH services.
- Compile project progress reports for the Programme Manager and donors.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in WASH project implementation and construction supervision.
- Rwandan national with strong knowledge of rural WASH programming.
- Registered or registrable with the relevant engineering body is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Water and sanitation infrastructure design.
- Contractor supervision and quality assurance.
- Report writing and stakeholder coordination.
