DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Exhibit high levels of Vendor management skills, show ability to coordinate and cooperate with third-party (Vendors)while observing and abiding with the company policy and processes to ensure that both parties’ benefit.
• Show meticulous analysis of the vendor issues or claims (with a focus on features and pricing), risk and security, compliance to ensure continuity.
• Ability to assess the vendor performance on a regular interval - describe the metrics you use to analyze successful vendor relations.
• Agent’s work would involve building mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers to turn a regular business transaction into a long-standing partnership.
• Sustaining an effective vendor relationship by identifying the vendor pain points, coming up with the best approaches to support the vendors.
• Should not involve in any form of fraud with the vendor as this will lead to immediate termination.
• Vendor management requires the art of reading beyond the fine print in contracts, that’s why you should qualify your meticulous attention to detail with results.
