Job Description
To drive Authority vehicles safely and efficiently to support transportation needs, including delivery of goods, personnel movement, and field operations while ensuring compliance with road safety standards and Authority transport policies.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Operate assigned truck(s) for transport of staff, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure vehicles are roadworthy before departure; check brakes, lights, tires, fuel levels, and oil.
- Adhere to traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
- Load and off‑load cargo safely and secure goods during transit.
- Maintain accurate transport logs, mileage, and delivery records.
- Report any mechanical faults promptly to the Transport Officer.
- Keep trucks clean and serviced regularly.
- Assist with minor vehicle repairs and routine maintenance where necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers and stakeholders.
