Description (Public)
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Loading, transporting, and delivering LPG products to clients and businesses in a safe, timely manner
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
- Accepting payments for delivered items
- Providing excellent customer service and handling complaints
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
- Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license (appropriate class for truck driving)
- Clean driving record
- Experience as a truck/lorry driver preferred
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to drive and lift heavy items for extended periods
- Attention to detail
- Commitment to work safety
