Rukundo International is seeking qualified individuals for the following positions:

Teaching Roles – Upper Primary

Mathematics Teacher
Social Studies (SST) Teacher
Religious Education (RE) Teacher

Administrative & Support Roles

Programs Officer
School Nurse
Dorm Matron
Dorm Patron
School Cook

These positions are open to individuals who are passionate about working with children and supporting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Both full-time and part-time roles may be available.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Support Student Development: Contribute to the academic, social, emotional, and physical growth of students, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Professionalism: Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior in all interactions with students, staff, and parents.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Work effectively with colleagues, management, and external partners to achieve school goals and deliver quality services.
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to school policies, procedures, child protection guidelines, and health & safety regulations.
Communication: Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with students, parents, and staff.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in professional development and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Resource Management: Use school resources responsibly and efficiently, ensuring proper care and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and materials.
Contribution to School Culture: Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful school environment aligned with Rukundo International’s values.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Relevant qualifications for the specific role applied for (teaching or support).
Experience working with children is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Commitment to maintaining a safe, caring, and supportive environment.
Professionalism, reliability, and strong work ethic.
