Job Description
Rukundo International is seeking qualified individuals for the following positions:
Teaching Roles – Upper Primary
- Mathematics Teacher
- Social Studies (SST) Teacher
- Religious Education (RE) Teacher
Administrative & Support Roles
- Programs Officer
- School Nurse
- Dorm Matron
- Dorm Patron
- School Cook
These positions are open to individuals who are passionate about working with children and supporting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Both full-time and part-time roles may be available.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Support Student Development: Contribute to the academic, social, emotional, and physical growth of students, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Professionalism: Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior in all interactions with students, staff, and parents.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work effectively with colleagues, management, and external partners to achieve school goals and deliver quality services.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to school policies, procedures, child protection guidelines, and health & safety regulations.
- Communication: Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with students, parents, and staff.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in professional development and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
- Resource Management: Use school resources responsibly and efficiently, ensuring proper care and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and materials.
- Contribution to School Culture: Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful school environment aligned with Rukundo International’s values.
