How to Apply
Carry out corrective maintenance on transmission equipment in case of a fault/ Breakdown ensuring that the station is on air21/7/365.
Ingesting segmenting and develop playlist of programs as per Daily Transmission Schedule (DTS) and filing daily reports on Transmission.
Setup for live coverage on location using SNG/LIVE U and deliver excellent/ quality signal for transmission.
Ensure the studio facilities (cameras, microphones, etc) are set and tested 30 minutes before any recording or live transmission.
Monitoring and off air signal recording to ensure quality signal on air and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Academic: University Degree/ Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering/ Electronics.
Proficiency in IT (MSc- Office package)
Experience: 1 to 2 years technical experience preferably in broadcasting.
Core Competencies
Knowledge of TV transmitter systems.
Knowledge of satellite (SCPC&VSAT) systems.
Must have analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work along and odd hours in a fast paced environment.
Work independently with little or no supervision.
