The Stock Analyst monitors and analyses stock across the Westlands store, maintaining accurate inventory records and turning stock data into reports that inform purchasing, replenishment and shrinkage control.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile physical stock against system balances.
Analyse stock movement, fast and slow movers, and stock cover to guide replenishment decisions.
Prepare regular stock reports for management, including variances and ageing stock.
Monitor stock levels and flag items at risk of stockout or overstock.
Support stock counts and audits and resolve discrepancies.
Work with the procurement and store teams on ordering and receiving accuracy.
Use inventory management software and Excel to track and interpret stock data.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Proven experience of 2 to 3 years in inventory control, stock analysis or a related role in a retail or warehouse setting.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
