How to Apply

Faculty of Business Administration and Management (Department of Finance and Accounting)

Position: Professor in Finance and Accounting (1 Vacancy)

Duty Station: Main Campus, Nkozi

Reports to: Dean, Faculty of Business Administration and Management


Qualifications and Experience:

  • PhD or equivalent in Finance or Accountancy from a recognized institution.

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Finance and Accounting.

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as an Associate Professor.

  • Evidence of scholarly research in Finance and Accounting.

  • Membership with professional bodies such as ICPAU or ACCA.

  • Proven experience in supervising research at Master's and PhD levels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach subjects including Business Policy, Strategic Management, Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting, and more.


Faculty of the Built Environment

Position: Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor in Architecture / Environmental Design (1 Vacancy)

Duty Station: Main Campus, Nkozi

Reports to: Dean, Faculty of the Built Environment


Qualifications and Experience:

For Associate Professor:

  • PhD in Architecture/Environmental Design or equivalent.

  • Minimum five (5) years teaching experience as a Senior Lecturer.

  • Proven research output and professional engagement.

  • Expertise in sustainable design and innovative construction techniques.


For Senior Lecturer:

  • PhD in Architecture/Environmental Design or equivalent.

  • Minimum of four (4) years teaching experience.

  • Evidence of research and engagement with the professional community.

Desirable: Membership with relevant architectural bodies.


Faculty of Health Sciences
Positions:
  • Lecturer in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (2 Vacancies)

  • Lecturer in MPH-PRH (1 Vacancy)

  • Lecturer in MPH-HP (1 Vacancy)

Duty Station: Lubaga Campus

Reports to: Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences


Qualifications and Experience:

  • PhD or Master’s degree in relevant fields such as Clinical Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, or a related discipline.

Position: Estates Manager (1 Vacancy)

Duty Station: Main Campus, Nkozi

Reports to: Deputy Vice Chancellor


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

  • A registered engineer with the Engineers’ Registration Board of Uganda or the Architects Registration Board.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in building construction and maintenance.


Key Competencies:

Qualifications and Experience:

For Systems Administrator / Webmaster:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in managing IT systems.

  • Professional certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA) are an added advantage.


For ICT Lab Attendant:

  • Diploma in Information Technology.

  • At least one year’s experience in a reputable organization.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work beyond regular hours.
