Senior Technician - Equipment Maintenance (3 Positions)New!

• Execute scheduled routine checks, servicing and calibrations to manufacturer specifications on bioreactors, centrifuges, conveyors, robots and inspection machines.
• Devise preventive measures to avoid machine downtime.
• Keep and maintain meticulous records of machine service history.
• Analyse machine test results and make adjustments so equipment operates optimally.
• Maintain organised logs of spare parts, consumables and tool kits required for upkeep.
• Log daily service activities, update equipment manuals and use CMMS or spreadsheets to track work history.
• Provide timely repair interventions in the event of critical equipment or facility failures.
• Work closely with plant operators to evaluate routine and emergency equipment work.
• Observe safety procedures and comply with Good Engineering Practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
• A diploma in air conditioning technology or a related field is an added advantage.
• At least 3 years' experience working in a busy pharmaceutical setting is an added advantage.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience in equipment servicing, calibration and repair.
