Job Description
Reporting to the Assistant Director – Specialised Services, the jobholder will be responsible for providing expert mechanical engineering input to support the Commission’s investigations. The role involves inspecting and auditing projects, liaising with external experts, compiling technical reports, and serving as an expert witness in legal proceedings related to the recovery of public assets and prosecution of economic crimes.

How to Apply
Provide mechanical engineering expertise to investigative functions of the Commission
Prepare technical reports on assets or projects under investigation
Collaborate with external experts in inspecting, auditing, and valuing projects/assets
Offer technical opinions and advisories on mechanical engineering-related investigations
Support criminal prosecutions and civil recovery by presenting technical evidence and expert opinion in court
At least ten (10) years post-graduation experience in mechanical engineering
Minimum of two (2) years post-registration experience with a relevant professional body
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution
KCSE mean grade of C+ or equivalent
Registered Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK)
Member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK)
Proficiency in computer applications
