Senior Mechanics – Heavy Duty Trucks (2 Positions)

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on heavy-duty trucks
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and unscheduled repairs on the truck fleet
• Perform engine overhauls, gearbox repairs, brake system servicing, and suspension work
• Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed to manufacturer specifications and quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out on each vehicle
• Identify and requisition spare parts and consumables required for maintenance
• Mentor and guide junior mechanics and technicians
• Ensure safe working practices are observed at all times

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certificate or Diploma in Motor Vehicle Mechanics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience servicing and repairing heavy-duty trucks (Mercedes, Volvo, MAN, Scania, Isuzu, or similar)
• Strong expertise in diesel engine systems, transmission, braking, and electrical systems
• Valid driving licence (Class C or higher) is an added advantage
