Career Options Africa Group is recruiting a Senior MEP Manager to lead mechanical, electrical and plumbing works on major building projects. The role covers design review, site supervision and commissioning.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Oversee MEP engineering design and installation for major building projects.
Review MEP drawings, technical submittals and material specifications for code compliance.
Supervise site installation teams and subcontractors on HVAC, electrical and piping systems.
Coordinate with architectural and structural leads to resolve spatial clashes.
Conduct testing, commissioning and system balancing for all MEP installations.
Manage MEP budgets, equipment procurement schedules and contractor valuations.
Ensure adherence to environmental safety, energy codes and municipal regulations.
Prepare progress reports and technical audits for developers and clients.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
At least 6 to 10 years managing complex MEP design and site construction works.
Certified professional engineer status with a recognised engineering board.

Skills & Competencies:

MEP engineering management and system commissioning.
AutoCAD, BIM and REVIT proficiency.
Subcontractor coordination and technical budget oversight.
