The Senior Executive Consultant provides high-level clinical and strategic leadership within a health institution. The role combines advanced medical expertise with institutional leadership to improve clinical outcomes and ensure services meet appropriate standards of safety, effectiveness and quality.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Provide high-level clinical and strategic leadership within the health institution
Oversee clinical programmes and advise management on complex medical matters
Mentor medical professionals and support research, training and professional development
Ensure healthcare services meet appropriate standards of safety, effectiveness and quality

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent
Master of Medicine (MMed) or equivalent postgraduate specialist qualification
Registration with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
Valid annual practising licence
Extensive post-registration specialist and leadership experience

Skills & Competencies:

Expert clinical judgement and institutional leadership
Strategic planning and programme oversight
Mentorship and professional development of medical staff
Commitment to clinical governance and quality standards
