Senior Economist

• Research and analyze economic issues supporting fiscal and monetary policy management

• Conduct surveys, collect data and prepare analytical reports for public interventions

• Analyze data using mathematical models and statistical techniques

• Prepare and submit reports, tables and charts presenting research results

• Interpret and forecast market trends for products in the Authority

• Conduct feasibility studies to determine project viability and set priorities

• Identify, prepare, evaluate and monitor development projects and programs

• Provide technical guidance on economic development topics in the Authority

• Support policy design and recommendations to solve economic problems

• Support project teams to increase technical rigor of deliverables

Person Specifications

a) Academic Qualifications

1. Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or Statistics

b) Work Experience

• Three (3) years’ experience at Economist level in Government or equivalent in a reputable organization
