One Acre Fund Rwanda is hiring a Seed Quality Control Coordinator in Kabarore, Gatsibo to oversee quality assurance, SOP compliance and regulatory standards across a 4,000 metric tonne hybrid maize seed processing plant.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Oversee quality assurance, SOP implementation and regulatory compliance at every stage of the seed processing plant.
Work with the Processing Coordinator to give technical guidance and run continuous quality inspections.
Balance operational efficiency with production targets.
Lead and manage plant quality staff and casual workers, including training on SOPs and quality standards.
Act as the link between internal processing teams, external clients and regulatory bodies.
Strengthen quality control systems across the seed value chain.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related field.
1 to 2 years of experience in the hybrid maize seed industry.

Skills & Competencies:

Seed quality inspection and standards.
SOP development and compliance.
Team supervision and training.
Stakeholder and regulator liaison.
