The engineer joins the integration team of the Engineering, AI and Data practice to take technical ownership of SAP Cloud Integration solutions after project handover, keeping them reliable in production and improving them through change requests and smaller enhancements.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Take over approved SAP CI solutions after project handover and own them through their lifecycle.
Monitor integration flows and message processing, and resolve standard incidents.
Diagnose issues across SAP CI and the connected source and target applications.
Fix defects, implement standard change requests and deploy corrections through release and transport processes.
Develop and modify SAP CI integration flows and configure integrations using the required protocols.
Create and adjust XML and JSON transformations and XPath expressions.
Manage solution-specific certificates, credentials and configurations securely.
Collaborate with source and target system teams during problem analysis.
Escalate complex cases to SAP CI seniors with a clear initial technical analysis.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or a related field.
Hands-on experience building and operating SAP Cloud Integration or SAP PI/PO integration flows.
Working knowledge of XML, JSON and XPath transformations.
Experience with release and transport management for SAP integration artefacts.
Understanding of certificates, credentials and security configuration in SAP CI.

Strong incident analysis and troubleshooting discipline.
Confident communication with platform teams, application owners and business stakeholders.
Ability to work independently on standard cases and escalate complex ones clearly.
Attention to detail in monitoring, documentation and change control.
Commitment to continuous improvement of running integrations.
