Sales Account Manager - Radios

The Sales Account Manager drives revenue by selling advertising slots and sponsorship opportunities across Next Media's radio brands, building client relationships and developing tailored radio advertising solutions.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities across industries
Sell advertising slots and sponsorships across United Media, Next Radio and Radio Wala
Meet clients to understand marketing objectives and recommend tailored radio solutions
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, quotations and commercial pitches
Negotiate advertising and sponsorship agreements and close deals
Achieve and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, client database and regular sales reports

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication or a related field
Proven experience in sales, account management or business development, preferably in radio or media
Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
Results-driven with a record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Knowledge of the Ugandan media and radio landscape is an added advantage
