Ebenezer Clinic & Diagnostic Centre seeks a Radiographer to deliver ultrasound and X-ray imaging services at its Ibanda diagnostic centre. The role combines scanning, radiation safety compliance and accurate diagnostic reporting in a 24-hour outpatient facility.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Carry out routine and 3D ultrasound scans including obstetric, abdominal, pelvic and general examinations.
Operate X-ray equipment to produce high quality images with correct patient positioning and exposure.
Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff and other personnel.
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining each examination and maintaining privacy.
Draft accurate diagnostic imaging reports and maintain organised patient records.
Perform daily equipment checks, clean imaging machinery and report faults promptly.
Work closely with attending clinicians to communicate urgent findings.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography, Medical Radiography or Medical Imaging from a recognised institution.
Registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) Uganda.
Valid practising licence from AHPC Uganda.

Skills & Competencies:

Hands-on ultrasound scanning skills including 3D sonography.
Knowledge of X-ray procedures, image processing and radiation safety.
Strong patient care, communication and clinical reporting skills.
