• Prepare indicative costs for public infrastructure including roads, water, power, schools, health facilities and markets.
• Build unit rates from current Ugandan prices using field price data.
• Build a clear Excel cost model that others can check and update.
• Set out assumptions and work closely with the planners on the study.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualification in quantity surveying, or civil engineering with strong costing experience.
• At least 3 years of experience costing public infrastructure in Uganda.
• Strong Excel skills. Professional registration is not required.

Skills & Competencies:

• Cost estimating and unit rate build up.
• Excel modelling.
• Careful work to short deadlines.
