The Quantitative Field Interviewer collects household survey data for a health study in Malaba, recruiting eligible participants and submitting complete interviews through electronic data capture tools.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Identify households and recruit participants who meet the eligibility criteria.
Conduct quantitative data collection in assigned households.
Complete, edit and submit all assigned interviews for cross-checking daily.
Fill in daily progress reports and timesheets.
Participate in weekly team meetings.
Assist the research team in other project activities.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Completed secondary education with a minimum grade C Plain in KCSE.
Proven experience in quantitative data collection in rural and urban settings.
Experience in public health or nutrition surveys.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience using electronic data capture tools such as ODK or SurveyCTO.
Residents of Malaba or areas close to the study sites have an added advantage.
Fluent in English and Kiswahili and available full time for the study.
