Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Run routine laboratory tests on incoming materials and finished products, including melt flow index and density checks.
- Inspect production line output against specifications and record test results.
- Interpret technical drawings and product specifications for inspection work.
- Apply quality management system procedures and keep quality records complete.
- Flag non conforming products and follow up corrective actions with the production team.
- Support process and product improvements with data from quality checks.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Chemistry, Food Processing, Chemical Engineering , or Agricultural Processing Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on quality control experience within a manufacturing environment (plastics, polymer processing, or packaging is highly preferred).
- Quality Management Systems.
Skills & Competencies:
- Laboratory testing and measurement.
- Melt flow index and density testing.
- Blueprint and specification interpretation.
- Quality management systems.
- Precision and attention to detail.
