How to Apply
Coordinate with suppliers to facilitate smooth shipments and resolve any logistical challenges.
Ensure proper documentation for customs clearance, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, Bill of Lading among others
Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate with suppliers on approval and review of Purchase orders, invoices and other documents to ensure appropriate information shared in relation to orders.
Negotiate shipping rates and contracts with carriers and freight forwarders.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the import process.
Maintain accurate records of all import transactions.
Analyze and report on import data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure timely approvals and adherence to import compliance standards.
Monitor import-related costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Prepare regular reports on import activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis.
Act as the key point of contact for all import-related inquiries within the organization.
Coordinate with NDA and process the necessary approval for the importation of medical supplies.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in import coordination, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
Specific Skills
Strong knowledge of import regulations, incoterms, and international trade compliance.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
Team player with a proactive approach.
Ethical and professional integrity in handling sensitive information.
