Project Support Officer - Traditional Knowledge

• Draft, review, and advise on legislation, policies, and agreements relating to traditional knowledge protection
• Design and conduct qualitative and mixed-methods research on traditional knowledge holders
• Mobilize and sensitize communities on traditional knowledge documentation and protection
• Facilitate community meetings, dialogues, and participatory mapping sessions
• Plan and execute field documentation exercises for traditional knowledge and cultural expressions
• Record, transcribe, and translate TK information collected during field visits
• Manage and update the Traditional Knowledge Digital Library (TKDL) and databases
• Ensure compliance with Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) protocols

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Law, Social Anthropology, Social Sciences, Social Work, Development Studies, Public Health, Library and Information Science, Records Management, Archival Studies, Cultural Heritage Management, or related field
• No work experience required
