HR Beyond Limits is recruiting a Project Accountant for a construction client to handle project costing, budget monitoring and financial reporting.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Record and reconcile all project costs, including materials, labour, plant, subcontractors and site overheads.
Monitor actual costs against budget and report variances with explanations.
Prepare monthly cost to complete and forecast reports for each project.
Track plant and equipment usage and hire costs.
Process subcontractor and supplier payments and maintain project financial records.
Enforce company financial policies and internal controls.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in accounting or finance and a professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA.
Several years of project accounting experience, preferably in construction.
Strong Excel and accounting software skills.

Skills & Competencies:

Cost control and variance analysis.
Budget monitoring and reporting.
Attention to detail.
